“Barça have known since last year the conditions that exist in LaLiga Impulso. And they know because they were on the verge of joining. We have stayed out of it and we are going ahead with CVC with or without Barça”, said Tebas at the Industry and Sport Forum.

In a similar vein, the executive director of La Liga, Óscar Mayo, expressed himself. “The door is open to all clubs, but with the same conditions. The conditions of the summer are the same as they are now. Hopefully all 42 will enter, but they must be under the same conditions.

I don’t know if Barcelona will enter, but this takes time. CVC and LaLiga need their internal processes and I don’t know how much time they have.

Tebas once again attacked the Superliga project, defended by Barça and Real Madrid, and has branded it as equally dangerous as the clubs that have states behind them. It should not be forgotten that the president of La Liga wants to denounce PSG for the renewal of Mbappé.

“The clubs-mecenas are just as dangerous as the Super League. They are models where it doesn’t matter if they have losses because they will be covered by their owner. In the Spanish clubs there is another model of ownership and even if they have lower losses they are already a detriment,” he said.
