John D. Rockefeller was an American oil tycoon and he was also the head of the then popular standard oil. At the age of 25, he was controlling one of the largest oil refineries in America and at the age of 31, he became the world’s largest oil refiner.
There came a time when he was around 38 years of age that he controlled and commanded almost 90% of the oil refined in the United States.
He retired at the age of 58 and by then he was the richest man in the country.
As a young man, every decisions of his was tailored to create his own individual power and wealth.
As at the his time, he was the only billionaire in the world and before he died he became the first ever billionaire in the history of the world.
