Pastor Peter Wafula said he has been betting for over 5 years without getting sufficient money to start other businesses. Now he has acquired state-of-the-art clubs and a mansion for his family.

“We are now waiting for God’s glory. I’m with my family, hoping to live and wait for the last day on earth. Thou shall not leave by bread alone but with the word of God. However, we also need that bread to survive,” he said.

The pastor’s wife has moved from their rural home to the leafy suburbs of Kakamega town and is now managing her husband’s businesses. She said being a pastor’s wife is hectic; however, managing the clubs gives a sense of full exposure to the world.
