Obi, the former governor of Anambra, specified that the funds should be used to purchase a bottle of Coke for each hospital employee. The military bombing on December 3 resulted in civilian casualties, and the Nigerian Army claimed responsibility, citing its intent to target rebels in Tudun Biri, Igabi Local Government Area.

During his visit to the affected village on Tuesday, Obi handed over the funds and urged the Nigerian government to support security forces to prevent such tragic events in the future.

In a video posted by Channels TV, Obi explained his personal contribution of N3 million, emphasizing the importance of healthcare staff and expressing his intention to provide each of the approximately 1,000 employees with a bottle of Coke.
