Immediately after the match Chelsea supporters took to social media platforms to blame head coach Graham Potter and asking for him to be sacked, although Chelsea have played poorly under the head coach but this night defeat was not his fault.

He got his lineup right and the team performance improved compared to the last few games.

Below we look at three players who should take the blame for Chelsea not getting at least a draw for the game.

Joao Felix. The attacking midfielder impressed tonight but his wastefulness in front of goal made sure Chelsea finished the game as the losing side, he missed two clear chances in the first half, hitting the bar when he should have scored.

Enzo Fernandez. The big money signing got his defensive duty all wrong and was well beaten by Karim Adeyemi for the only goal of the match, he should take a large chunk of the blame and not Graham Potter.

Kai Havertz. The German was ineffective as a leading striker and had one of his worst game in a blue shirt despite a dominate performance in attack by Chelsea, so many things are expected from him but he is yet to perform this season.
