I know a lot of fans will not side with this but I only see positives from us missing out on Darwin Nunez. It’s actually a good thing if you have followed Man Ute’s transfer activities post Ferguson era. We’ve been making the same mistakes, we buy players mostly cos other teams are interested. Is that not how we rushed to sign Fred when City was about to sign him? How good has it been for us?...CONTINUE READING THE FULL ARTICLE>>>
Another reason, how many times have we signed an £80million valued player that actually came and played like an £80million player? Maguire? Paul Pogba? Jadon Sancho(I still believe in the kid). The closest we got to value for money was Lukaku and he wasn’t even close to an 80 million signing. We can rush and get this kid and next season we go back to being the laughing stock of the league.
It’s a bit shaky that a striker shines a season and all of a sudden fans are pushing the board to sign him. That’s how we’ve always ended up signing the wrong players! IMPULSE BUYING! We have a lot to sort out in this current Man United team and it’s not even about our attack. Our midfield is terrible!!!! Why waste all the money on another striker whiles we have C Ronaldo for the season? Are we going to buy NUNEZ to stay on the bench or you’d bench C Ronaldo for him? If we have £80million for him why didn’t we trigger Harland’s release clause then cos we all know Haaland has proven himself many times than the new kid, Darwin!
Don’t blame Man Utd, they did what they could to convince him but if you’re a player and Liverpool or Madrid wants you against Man Utd, you’d probably end up with Liverpool or Madrid! I’m glad we didn’t try convincing him with money this time. TRUST THE MANAGER and give him time. Our midfield and defense is our biggest problem not attack!! Our current striker was 3rd in the golden boot race! RELAX AND TRUST THE MANAGER IF YOU WANT US TO SUCCEED
