Four of Ghana’s starting players were booked in the previous match and are in danger of missing the final group game. This will worry coach Otto Addo, especially since the list includes captain Andre Ayew.

Others in danger include Inaki Williams, Mohamed Kudus, and Alidu Seidu. Mohamed Kudus was impressive in the first game, and his substitution as Ghana chased the game caused an understandable uproar. If he is fit, he will be a sure starter, just like Andre Ayew, who scored Ghana’s first goal.

On Friday, Ayew and Seidu trained separately, but there was no indication that they would be unavailable. Thomas Partey played the entire game and will be available to inspire Ghana here; a lot will be expected of him.
