The game is expected to be a very tough clash, with David Moyes and his boys keen on building from their 4-0 win against Southampton over the weekend.
Manchester United on the other hand doesn’t seem to be keen on leaving any stone unturned, with Erik Ten Hag desperate to challenge and win the three trophies left in his possession. He’s won the Carabao Cup, while the FA Cup, Europa League, as well as Premier League, are still up for grabs.
However, the journey won’t be an easy walk with other premier league teams keen on challenging. Manchester United received a boost when they welcomed Antony back to the squad, but Martial is yet to return to the squad despite returning to infield training. Following Martial’s absence, Wout Weghorst has replaced him perfectly well.
Although some fans do criticize him, he’s doing a great job up front in the team. Ahead of the mid-week game against West Ham United, I expect him to start alongside Gernancho and Antony upfront so that Rashford will get a rest.
