The 18-year-old is currently linked to a transfer move to Chelsea with the Blues said to be already closing in on the Chicago Fire keeper.
Should things go as planned, Slonina could become Tuchel’s first summer signing.
Reacting to being compared with Manuel Neuer and Buffon, Slonina said back in March 2022; “I’m already getting compared to them (Buffon & Neuer) so why can’t I be at that level?”
“Being compared to them is an incredible honor. It’s insane to see my name next to theirs because they’re the top goalkeepers in the world.
“They’ve accomplished so many big things that I hope to accomplish in my career.”
Chelsea will look to finalize an agreement for the youngster this Monday with hopes of landing him in days time.
