“My dream is for Barça to become a world reference again and we are working for it”- Laporta said.
As a result, the Catalans have completed five summer signings in the transfer market, with Ousmane Dembele, Raphinha, Franck Kessie, Andreas Christensen, and Lewandowski joining the club.
The Spanish giants will now shift their attention to the defensive area of the squad with Laporta confirming that in a recent statement. “Now it’s time to work on the defense,” Laporta stated.
One defensive target who has been heavily linked to the Camp Nou this summer is French International Jules Kounde.
Spanish journalist, Gerard Romero has come up with a fresh update on the situation surrounding Kounde’s future. According to Romero, Kounde has already agreed to a four-year deal with Barcelona over a transfer.
The report also claims that the French defender Jules Kounde had previously reached an agreement with the Catalans over personal terms.
It’s yet to be seen if the reports are true.
