Do you feel tired even after a good night’s sleep? Do you catch yourself every day asking, “Why do I always feel tired? It is normal to feel tired after a long day, but if you feel tired all the time, there is probably something wrong with your health....CONTINUE READING

According to Healthline, these are some reasons why you may feel tired all the time:

Lack of sleep

Do you stay up late to watch an episode of your favourite show or talk to your friends on the phone? Well, it’s fine to spend your free time watching a movie or having an evening chat with friends, but it shouldn’t be at the expense of your health. One of the most obvious and common reasons for fatigue is lack of sleep, but having a little fun doesn’t mean you can’t sleep on time.

According to the American Academy of Sleep and The Sleep Society, people between the ages of 18 and 60 need between seven and nine hours of sleep to stay healthy. Those who sleep less than 7 hours per day risk a number of diseases such as obesity, high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and depression. In addition, prolonged lack of sleep increases the risk of death.

You don’t eat healthy foods

Do you love pizza, burgers, and cold drinks and eat them all the time? It’s okay to give your child treats to settle their stomach, but if you do it too often, it can harm their health and sleep. A healthy diet is the key to restful sleep. Include fruits, vegetables, protein, grains, and dairy in your daily diet to boost health and relieve fatigue.

Thinking too much

Thinking improves cognitive abilities—yes it does! However, too much thinking or stress can be detrimental to your health. Excessive stress is one of the main reasons why we feel tired all the time. Stress is the worst enemy of your health, and if you don’t get rid of it completely, it won’t make you happy.

A little stress is healthy and can even motivate you to perform better. But you can never have too much of anything, and that goes for stress too. Prolonged excessive stress can be mentally and physically exhausting and can even lead to a number of health problems, including obesity, high blood pressure, heart disease, memory problems, and excessive fatigue.

Not exercising regularly

Do you exercise regularly? If the answer is no, then you are at risk! If you don’t exercise regularly, this is one of the main reasons why you feel tired all the time. A sedentary lifestyle is not good for your health.

It may feel like a chore to get up early in the morning and go for a run, but it’s a necessary part of a healthy lifestyle. And believe me, once you start jogging or exercising, you will love it.

If you have a health problem

If you eat a healthy, nutritious diet, exercise and keep your stress levels in check, but still feel tired throughout the day, this could be a sign of an underlying medical condition. Illness is another important reason why you feel tired all the time. You should get a medical check-up to find out if you have a medical condition.
