Raphinha to Barcelona (£58 million)

It is no longer that the Catalan giants, Barcelona has beaten to Chelsea to signing talented Brazilian winger, Raphinha. The deal which was sealed this week, saw the former Leeds United forward signing a 5 years contract with Barcelona. The deal reportedly cost Barcelona £66 million in transfer and bonuses.

So Raphinha now plays for Barcelona. (Oops Chelsea fans…..sorry!)

Kalidou Koulibaly to Chelsea (Undisclosed)

Shortly after Raheem Sterling move to Chelsea from Manchester City, Kalidou Koulibaly became the second player to join Chelsea this summer. The 31 year old Senegalese defender signed for Chelsea from Napoli at an undisclosed fee, on a four year contract.

Ever since the exit of Anthonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen from the club, Chelsea is angling for a percent replacement . Will Koulibaly be the man for the job? Time will tell.

Robert Lewandowsi to Barcelona (£42 million)

After months of speculations, Barca fans all over the world were delighted to hear the Lewandowski deal has been confirmed. The 33 years old Polish talisman has finally moved from Bayern Munich to Barcelona for a fee close to 45 million Euros plus 5 million Euros add-ons.

Robert Lewandowsi had a wonderful stint at Bayern Munich, scoring 238 goals in 253 appearances for the club. He has also won several golden boots in competitions like the German Bundesliga and UEFA Champion Leagues.

Will he continue his goal scoring form at the La Liga? Well, one thing is certain, El- Classico next season will such a delight to watch!

Mathijs de Ligt to Bayern Munich(£68million)

Netherland international, Mathijs De Ligt has joined Bayern Munich from Juventus in a deal that cost Bundesliga Giants £59.5m plus a further £8.5m in add-ons.

Widely regarded as one of the best young centre backs in the world, 22 year- old Mathijs de Ligt joined Juventus from Ajax in 2019, making 117 appearances and winning both the Serie A and the Coppa Italia.
Paulo Dybala to Juventus(Free transfer)

Paulo Dybala has signed for Roma on a free transfer from Juventus. He signed 3 years contract. Paulo Dybala in a post has expressed his delight signing for Roma, saying he is ready to work with Coach Jose Mourinho for better results.

Dybala, 28, joined Juventus 7 years ago where he netted 115 goals in 293 appearances.

Jesse Lingard to Nottingham Forest( Free Transfer)

Most football fans didn’t see this coming, but it happened anyway. It is now official that the England Midfielder, Jesse Lingard has signed for the new premier league boys, Nottingham Forest on a one year deal in which he will be earning close to £150,000 weekly in wages. Huge!

After the expiration of the29 year old Lingard’s contract in June, his next destination was thought to be West Ham. However, he has now signed for Nottingham Forest.

Oleksandr Zichenko to Arsenal(£32 million )

Oleksandr Zinchenko is now officially Arsenal fifth signing the season (Yippee!) The Ukrainian left back has finally joined Arsenal from Manchester City. The deal is reportedly worth £32 million.

Arsenal fans are hoping the adding of Zinchenko into the squad will help to reinforce Arsenal’s defence.

While the aforementioned transfer deals have been finalized, there are other pending football deals that are waiting to be confirmed , and as well, footballs fans all over the word can’t wait for them to be confirmed.

Kounde to Chelsea or Kounde to Barcelona?

Currently, battle lines have been drawn between Chelsea and Barcelona as to who will be the one to sign Jules Kounde from Sevilla.

Chelsea fans in particular have been in apprehensive moods. All through this week, trends such as #KoundeisBlue have taken a top chart on social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook.

It is no longer news that Frenchman Kounde is being admired for long by most Chelsea fans, and they can’t wait to have him in the team.

It is no longer news that Cristiano Ronaldo wants an exit from Manchester United despite efforts that is being made to persuade him to extend his stay at the Old Trafford.

So far, Athletico Madrid and Chelsea are in the forefront in the race to sign Ronaldo. According to news emerging from reputable sources, Chelsea is making strong moves to sign the 37 years old Portuguese wizard from Manchester United!

Will Ronaldo sign for Chelsea? Or will he change his mind and remain with the red devils? Again, Time will tell.
