For today’s game in the Serie A, Salernitana hosted Lecce to the Stadio Arechi, hoping to get back into winning ways after they had to settle for a point against Juventus in their previous fixture.
Unfortunately for them, they conceded the first goal of the game which was scored by Ceesay at the 43rd minute. The goal ended up being the only goal of the opening half which ended 0-1.
The host then found their feet back into the as they were levelled the game with an own goal from Gonzalez at the 55th minute, making it 1-1.
At the 83rd minute, Lecce regained their lead with a goal from Strefezza, which ended up being the match winning goal of the game which ended 1-2 in favour of the visitors.
Following this result, this is how the Serie A table currently looks like as Salernitana remain at the 10th spot, while Lecce move to the 14th spot.
