The first game that was played in the laliga competition yesterday was between bottom table side Alaves a d Espanyol Barcelona. Alaves who has been on top form I’m recent week, narrowly defeated Espanyol Barcelona 2:1 yesterday and kept their hope of avoiding relegation this season alive.
Alaves 2:1 victory over Espanyol yesterday, made them to move up to the 19th position on the table with 4 points behind Cadiz who are currently occupying the 17th position (safety zone) on the current table.
Sevilla vs RCD Mallorca (match review).
Sevilla were also in action in the laliga competition yesterday. Sevilla who drew their last game against Villarreal last weekend, failed to return to winning ways yesterday as they played a disappointing goalless draw with Mallorca and dropped down to the fourth position on the current table.
Elche vs Atletico Madrid (match review).
The last match that was played in the tournament yesterday, was between Elche and Atletico Madrid. Atletico Madrid who are looking forward to booking a spot in next season champions league competition, comfortably defeated Elche at home yesterday and climbed up to the third position on the current table.
