Levis Barasa who joined the club this season, scored an hat-trick to inspire the Sugermen to victory as Nzoia recorded their first win of the season following a 3-1 smashing over Kariobangi Shark.
The results puts Nzoia United on 15th position on the Kenya Premier League table, allowing them leap frogged Wazito who are 16th with the same points.
However, after scoring an hat-trick and named the best player in the match on Saturday in the Kenya Premier League, Levis Barasa was awarded a sugar bag.
