Speaking to the press on Thursday, three of the brothers pointed accusatory fingers at their sisters and another brother who they claimed hired goons to carry out the destruction.
Richard Sang revealed that the four had planted tea, nappier grass, and exotic trees on the parcel, all of which had been cut down. The losses are estimated at millions of shillings.
He further noted that some of them had been forced to sell their livestock after the animal feed plantation was destroyed.

“We ask the government and Tea Board to visit the land and see the extent of destruction. The issue is that we are still in court but our sisters and brothers came and began destroying the crops,” Kenneth added.
“Our father had subdivided the land to us over 20 years ago but they insisted that the subdivision should be carried out afresh.”
Gilbert Sang, on the other hand, argued that the plantation was their source of income and now it was in jeopardy.
“We planted the plants it was our source of income but our brother and sisters are behind this destruction. They have their parcels but we have no idea why they are destroying this,” he told the press.
