The USMNT captain started the game ahead of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech but missed some chances that could have given Chelsea the edge before the game ended on penalties.
2 Romelu Lukaku
The Belgian forward had another bad game against the Merseyside Reds as he was unable to trouble their defence when he was on. He also got a half-chance in the first half and couldn’t make good use of it.
Chelsea will switch focus to their next game in the English Premier League as they hope to seal a Champions League spot with just one point needed.
