Former Barcelona football club of Spain forward maestro, Antoine Griezmann was spectacular tonight for Diego Simeone led Atletico Madrid team in their 26th league game of the season at home against Valencia at the Metropolitano Stadium.
The 31 year old France international retained his spot in his team’s starting XI line-up having been a key figure since his summer arrival for a second spell in the club.
Antoine Griezmann since making his return debut for the Rojiblancos has been able to pick up his impressive goal scoring form from where he left off before joining Barcelona, and he was able to replicate another top notch performance in the show of the night.
The Frenchman opened the scoring sheet for the host in the 23rd minute of the game to make it one nil which was the only goal that separated the two sides going into the half time break.
The host in the second half of the game were more cordinated as they stepped up their game with some more incredible style of play thereby got the lead doubled just four minutes into the second 45 minutes, courtesy of a goal from Yannick Carrasco to make it two nil before Thomas Lemar sealed the comfortable win for the host in the 67th minute which ended the game three goals to nil at full time.
