“They are discussing with his agents, they had an agreement ready, it was 10 days ago, then they had some problems to complete everything with Paris Saint-Germain.
“Paris Saint-Germain are really tough with their negotiations this summer. The negotiation is still ongoing and I’d say this week Everton will try to complete.”
The midfielder made 108 appearances across three seasons at Everton, after joining the club from Aston Villa, before moving to PSG in the summer of 2019.
