Fresh from their hard-fought 1-0 win over win over Luton in their last Premier League game before the international break, the Red Devils will be looking for another another win over the Merseyside team on Sunday to improve their stand in the league standings.

Manchester United could be going into Sunday’s game without the services of many of their key players, as the Old Trafford treatment room is bustling with injury concerns, encompassing Casemiro (thigh), Lisandro Martinez (foot), Jonny Evans (thigh), Tyrell Malacia (knee), Amad Diallo (knee), and Facundo Pellistri (knock).
Rasmus Hojlund is also a major doubt for Sunday’s game against Everton due to the thigh injury he sustained against Luton before the international break.
Jadon Sancho remains absent due to disciplinary action while the return of Luke Shaw to training offers a potential boost. Aaron Wan-Bissaka, recovering from an illness-related absence against Luton, is also vying for a spot in the matchday squad.
