Let’s take a look at their statistics since 2019/20 season. Kylian Mbappe was Paris Saint-Germain’s main player in the 2019/20 season and he scored 30 goals in 37 games. However, Erling Haaland who played for Borussia Dortmund in the same season, scored 13 goals more than Mbappe. Despite the fact that Mbappe played two games less than the Norwegian striker, he provided 9 assists more than Haaland.
However, the 2020/21 season ended with severe competition between Haaland and Mbappe. Both players made the same number of goal contributions, but it was Kylian Mbappe who played six more games than Haaland.
