Manchester United was 1-0 down at halftime before letting in 6 goals in the second forty-five minutes at Anfield. Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag has reacted to his side’s loss to Liverpool.
He was asked about the outcome of the match, and he replied ” Second half was not for us. It was not our standards. We didn’t play as a team”.
Asked if he was angry with his side’s second-half performance, he added and said ” Yes definitely, and surprised because I have seen the last weeks and months a team that is resilient and determined with a winning attitude. We didn’t stick to the plan, we lose our heads. We didn’t do our job”.
