On friday, Manchester city manager, Pep Guardiola, made it known that he will know if the right back is ready to face Aston Villa on Saturday.

“Kyle is getting better, but i am not sure if he is ready for tommorow. [We] will see this afternoon,” he said in a pre match press conference.

For the forthcoming match at Molineux park on Saturday, Manchester city’s Joao Cancelo is expected to feature in his absent if he is comfirmed to miss the match.

Meanwhile, Manchester city will do without Aymeric Laporte, according to Manchester city manager, Pep Guardiola.

The centre back has been absent since the beginning of the season (due to a knee surgery he underwent last season), but made an unanticipated return on Tuesday at Manchester city training ground.

”Aymeric is back in training, but is not ready,” said Manchester city manager, Pep Guardiola on Friday.
