The video assistant referee (VAR) in this 21st century has made several choices that will either impress or annoy the audience.
Because the VAR is considered to have a success rate of 99 percent for its choices, it is recommended that it be adhered to.
Therefore, it would be beneficial if we could look at the EPL table without VAR, since those on the field were the only ones who made decisions prior to the implementation of VAR, and they had complete discretion.
Among the proposals that will be considered is the modification of the VAR judgments in contrasting ways, as detailed as follows:
1. The counting of goals that were disallowed
2. the removal of goals that have been tallied after they have been disallowed.
3. The reversal of penalties that were determined by the VAR
4. Counting goals that were rejected by the video assistant referee as penalties.
In the absence of VAR, there are some things to think about if you want to make the most of the EPL table.
