Fulham 2-1 Brighton: Fulham ended Brighton’s unbeaten start to the season with a 2-1 victory at Craven Cottage thanks to Aleksandar Mitrovic’s fifth goal of the season.

Three minutes into the second half, Mitrovic scored his 100th league goal for Fulham by slipping in at the back post. Marco Silva’s team quickly added a second when Lewis Dunk put the ball in his own net (55).

Brighton, who could have gone top of the Premier League for the first time with a win, pulled one back on the hour through Alexis Mac Allister’s well-taken penalty after VAR penalised Bobby De Cordova-Reid for a foul on Pervis Estupinan.

Despite a late, substitute-inspired rally, Brighton’s comeback fell short as Fulham cruised to a deserved victory, moving them into the top six on eight points, two behind Brighton, who remain in fourth.

Crystal Palace 1-1 Brentford: Brentford and Crystal Palace drew 1-1 on Tuesday night thanks to a late header from substitute Yoane Wissa.

Wissa scored on Vitaly Janelt’s cross in the 88th minute to offset Wilfried Zaha’s earlier stunning goal (59), and Brentford nearly brought all three points back to west London with a late onslaught that saw Bryan Mbuemo and Ben Mee nearly score in stoppage time.
