Chelsea 1-0 Crystal Palace

Chelsea were hoping to get back on track today when they hosted struggling Crystal Palace. The Chelsea manager fielded a strong lineup in today’s game, and the player did an outstanding job in todays game.

The blues got off to a fast start and controlled the majority of possession in the first half. Chelsea’s first goal attempt came from Havertz, who could only guide a free header over the bar. Thiago Silva and Lewis Hall came particularly close to breaking the deadlock late in the game, but the game went into halftime without a goal.

The Blues came back stronger in the second half, but they were still unable to break Crystal Palace defenses. Seeing that the Blues were struggling in attack, Potter introduced Aubameyag, and Chelsea took the lead through Havertz just five minutes later, thanks to a beautiful cross from Ziyech.

Crystal Palace grew into the game and pressed for an equalizer in the final minutes, but Chelsea held firm. The game ended 1-0 in favour off Chelsea. However, they still remain 10th on the table.

Newcastle 1-0 Fulham

Newcastle hosted Fulham today in an attempt to boost their top-four hopes. The Magpies got off to a flying start and dominated the first half. Wilson and Almiron both came close to breaking the tie, but Leno was outstanding in goal to keep them at bay.

The second round was more intense, with the host attempting to take the lead. Wilson squandered a good chance to put Newcastle ahead before Fabian Schar hit the post with a stunning freekick. After being awarded a penalty, the visitors missed their chance to take the lead.

Mitrovic, who appeared to take the penalty kick, accidentally kicked the ball twice, resulting in the goal being cancelled. They were later punished when Newcastle substitute Isak scored the game-winning goal in the 89th minute. The victory saw the host move back to third position in the league table.

Tottenham 0-2 Arsenal

Arsenal were looking to extend their lead at the top of the table after Manchester City lost to Manchester United on Saturday. Arteta’s men knowing what was at stack began the game in a high tempo and took the lead in the 14th minute when Lloris deflected a shot into his own net.

The Gunners kept up their high tempo and extended their lead through Odegaard after a fantastic build up. Tottenham had few chances as well, but none were big deal for Aaron Ramsdale, who was at his best throughout the game.

The second half was a little dull, though Arsenal seemed to have calmed down and allowed Tottenham to do more attacking. They were fortunate that Tottenham did not convert their chances, and they went home with all three points at the end if the game with the final score at 2-0.

As you can see, Arsenal are now 8 points clear at the top of the table. Newcastle on the other hand moved to 3rd place and Chelsea remained in 10 place despite their win today.
