Down into the second half of the match, Leeds United extended their lead to 2-0 after Raphael Varane scored an own goal. It was unexpected from Manchester United as they couldn’t keep up with Leeds United’s pace and conceded another. Marcus Rashford pulled one back for Manchester United after he scored a brilliant goal from Diogo Dalot’s assist.
Jadon Sancho scored the equaliser for Manchester United just minutes after he came on as a substitute. Manchester United kept pushing fornthe winning goal after they already drew level in the second half of the match. Erik Ten Hag’s side pushed for the winning goal but couldn’t get it.
