Arsenal vs Everton
Arsenal hosts Everton at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon in their final game of the 2021-22 Premier League season, with a top-four finish out of their grasp.
On Monday evening, Mikel Arteta’s side lost 2-0 at Newcastle United, four days after being thrashed by Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby.
Arsenal will need to win to have a chance of qualifying for the Champions League, but they are also hoping for Norwich City to beat Tottenham.
Brentford vs Leeds United
Brentford have impressed this season, finishing strongly, and the hosts will want to go out in style in front of their own fans on Sunday, but Leeds United will be relegated if they lose this match.
Brighton vs West Ham United
Brighton will need to win to stay in the top half of the table, but it won’t be easy against a West Ham side looking to qualify for the Europa League.
West Ham United is only two points behind Manchester United in sixth place, and a win may see them leapfrog Man United if Man United loses at Crystal Palace.
Burnley vs Newcastle United
Burnley will play Newcastle United on the last day of the season in their battle for survival. In the second half of the season, Newcastle United has been a completely different team.
They were certain relegation candidates at the end of the first leg, but now they have a chance to finish in the top half. It’s been incredible for them, and they come here after a dominant performance and victory over Arsenal.
Chelsea vs Watford
Chelsea and Watford both finish a season they’d rather forget on Sunday at Stamford Bridge, in what will almost certainly be 74-year-old Hornets manager Roy Hodgson’s final match in football.
With a 1-1 draw against Leicester City in midweek, the London side all but sealed third place. With an 18-goal goal differential, they are three points ahead of Spurs.
Crystal Palace vs Man United
Crystal Palace have suffered another season of inconsistency. They are now in 13th place and face sixth-placed Manchester United in their final match. However, Crystal Palace may still finish in the top ten if Brighton loses and both Newcastle and Brentford lose their final games.
Manchester United have already confirmed that they would not be competing in the Champions League next season. They are now scheduled to play in the Europa League in 2022/23, but could be relegated to the Europa Conference League. Because of their lower goal difference, United will need to win at Selhurst Park if seventh-placed West Ham wins at Brighton.
Man City vs Aston Villa
In the Premier League, a major weekend awaits, with the championship race among the battles to be decided on Sunday. Manchester City, the league leaders, will face Aston Villa at home, requiring a win to retain their title.
City have 90 points, one more than second-placed Liverpool, who will be hoping for a miracle from Villa.
Norwich City vs Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur are in a strong position to finish in the top four and will hope to do so when they visit Norwich City.
The hosts are in last place in the league with 22 points, while Tottenham are in fourth place with 68 points. Norwich’s best finish this season is 19th, which they can attain if they win here and hope Watford loses.
Liverpool vs Wolves
Liverpool hosts Wolves at Anfield in a match that might decide the title if Aston Villa can do them a huge favor by drawing or beating Manchester City.
The hosts are only a point behind City and will look to strike early to put additional pressure on them. Regardless of the outcome of this match, Wolves will finish in the top half of the table.
Leicester City vs Southampton
In this Premier League final day match, Leicester hosts Southampton at the King Power Stadium. With 49 points, the host team is in ninth place, while the visitors are in 15th place with 40 points. Southampton will be hoping to finish the season on a high note, since they are only five points above the relegation zone.
