The 2022/23 English Premier League ended this weekend after an interesting season that saw Arsenal gift Manchester City their third consecutive premier league title despite staying at the top of the league for the best part of the season. Manchester United and Newcastle United secured a comfortable top-four finish after beating Fulham and settling for a draw against Chelsea respectively. Premier League Champions Manchester City was unable to win their last game of the season, with Brentford scoring a second-half goal to beat Pep Guardiola. Liverpool was unable to make it to book a spot in next season’s Champions League after a 4-4 draw against Southampton on the final day. Although Manchester United’s win against Chelsea made it impossible for them to see Champions League football next season, at least they should have won their last game of the season. Arsenal ran riot at the Emirates Stadium against Wolves. The Gunners are not happy with themselves after bottling the lead, so they used the last game to console their fans.
For the relegation battle, Everton escaped Sky Bet Championship football with a 1-0 win against Bournemouth.
Tottenham Hotspur ensured that Leeds United move comfortably to relegation after beating them 4-1 at Elland Road.
Leicester City joined Southampton in Championship despite winning against West Ham United. As it stands, Southampton, Leicester City, and Leeds United went down to relegation.
