Manchester United will have to play three domestic games without their midfield powerhouse, Casemiro, after the Brazilian got sent off against Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon....CONTINUE READING THE FULL ARTICLE>>>

Casemiro was given his marching orders around the 70th minute if his sides 2-1 win over Crystal Palace at Old Trafford. He was guilty if holding Will Hughes on his throat during a brawl that started off from Schlupp tackling Antony badly.

Last time Man United played without Casemiro, it was a 3-2 defeat at the Emirates against Arsenal. On that occasion, he has just received a fifth yellow card of the season against the same opponents, Crystal Palace, in a 1-1 draw forcing him to miss the Arsenal class.

However, Man United shouldn’t miss Casemiro that badly this time for the following reasons.

1. Lower quality of opposition

Leeds and Leicester are decent teams but they are not quite Arsenal.

Arsenal this season are the best team in the country and United still managed to go head to head against them away from home.

United should be able to navigate fixtures against both those team without Casemiro and if they can’t, then they probably aren’t as good as many think.

2. Better replacement

United now have a better replacement for Casemiro in Marcel Sabitzer as opposed to McTominay when the faced Arsenal two weeks ago.

Sabitzer was tidy when he came in vs Crystal Palace to help give Man United stability against the Eagles. He won his tackles and was precise with his passes, allowing United to keep their lead until the final whistle.

Casemiro will miss games against Leeds United twice and Leicester City but sandwiched in between those games is a two legged tie against FC Barcelona in the Europa League.

Casemiro will be back just in time for the Carabao Cup Final against Newcastle and will as well be playing the games against Barcelona which should keep him match fit.
