In just his sixth league game, Erling Haaland netted his tenth goal by reacting quickest at the back post to a beautiful Kevin De Bruyne cross from the right flank.

Midway through the second half, a De Bruyne free-kick rattled against the post as the Manchester based outfit came close to going ahead once again.

But against the odds, Villa netted the equalizer with 15 minutes remaining. Bailey put his team back on equal footing after Jacob Ramsey’s strong cut-back was converted beautifully into the top-left corner.

The Villans managed to hang on to earn a crucial point and end their three-game losing run.
