As it is the tradition in the league, all twenty clubs will be playing their matches that same day and at the same time.

But one thing that is unique and worth mentioning about the final day of this season is the fact that there are more competitive matches all packed together than the previous seasons.

Many teams will be fighting for one thing or the other on the last day of the season and in this article, we are going to lack at the five battles that would happen Sunday.

The winners of this season’s league will be determined on the last day of the season with either Manchester City or Liverpool winning it.

The Cityzens are currently top on the table with 90 points while Liverpool trail behind them with 89 points.

A win for City will automatically see them become Champions for the season but a draw or a lose could be disastrous for them, as they could lose out on the title if Liverpool win their match.

2. The Battle For Top Four

The second battle on the final day of the competition will be that for the Champions League spot.

Tottenham Hotspur recently displaced Arsenal from the fourth position and are currently leading them by two points.

Arsenal’s only hope for a top four finish is for Tottenham Hotspur to lose against Norwich City on the final day while they win against Everton.

3. The Battle For Europa League

blank

Manchester United and West Ham United will be battling for the Europa League position, with the Red Devils currently sitting sixth on the table with 58 points; that is two points ahead of West Ham United on seventh position.

Anything short of a win against Crystal Palace could spell disaster for Manchester United, if West Ham United win their match.

A win for West Ham United and a lose for Manchester United could see the Red Devils drop to seventh position.

Also a win for West Ham United and a draw could also see the Red Devils finish the season on seventh position on goal difference.

The fourth battle is that for survival and could likely involve Leeds United and Burnley.

Leeds United are currently one point above Burnley, although they have played oneore match than Burnley.

However, regardless of whether Burnley win or lose their 37th match, both teams will fight to remain in the top flight.

5. The Battle For The Golden Boot

blank

The final battle of the season will not be between two teams rather two players are Mohamed Salah and Son Heung-Min.

Mohamed Salah is the current leading top score in the league with 22 goals while Son Heung-Min is closely behind him with 21 goals.
