In the English Premier League, clubs don’t sleep on this opportunity. They maximize it to the fullest, till the last second of the window– deals still take place. So far, the recruitment of players in the Premier League isn’t like it used to be, especially with the top clubs.

Manchester United have made just a few additions to their squad, bringing in Lisandro Martinez, Christian Eriksen. Chelsea on the other hand keep losing out to Barcelona in the current window, but have managed to sign Raheem Sterling and Koulibaly.

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have landed some players as well; Erling Haaland and Kalvin Phillips being on the list. Liverpool haven’t made as much signings as you would expect. Arsenal have been busy in the window, making improvements to their attack and defence.

In all of this, no EPL club has been busier than newly promoted club side, Nottingham Forest. The club have been making crucial additions to the squad and have signed the most players this summer.

A total of 11 players have been added to the EPL club this summer. Their promotion to the English top flight seems to be attracting more players to the club.

Super Eagles of Nigeria striker, Taiwo Awoniyi, joined the newly promoted club from German club, Union Berlin for a fee circling around €20.5 million, making him their most expensive signing so far.

Omah Richards was signed on a permanent deal from Bayern Munich. Right-back Neco Williams, and Mousa Niakhate, were signed for €20 million and €10 million respectively.

€10 million was enough to secure the services of Giulian Biancone to Ligue 1 side, Troyes, to secure the signature of right-back, Giulian Biancone.

Nottingham Forest made a double purchase from Huddersfield for Left-back Harry Toffolo and midfielder Lewis O’Brien.

19-year old Brandon Aguilera was signed from LD Alajuelense for €950,000 before he was allowed to return on a one-year loan transfer.

Former Manchester United forward, Jesse Lingard, Dean Henderson, and Wayne Hennessey(Burnley) were recruited by the club on a free deal.

If you ask me what I think about this, I would say, the clouds are forming and it is about to rain. Nottingham Forest might take the EPL by storm in the coming season and if care is not taken, they could be a big bone to crack.
