Since the invincibles era, Arsenal are yet to win the Premier League, they have come close on a couple of occasions and this season they look like a team that can go all the way, but they are in a race with other talented teams.

Manchester City are arguably the best team in England, Man United are rebuilding their team under Erik Ten Hag’s stewardship, Conte appears to be building something special at Tottenham while Chelsea have become better since Harry Potter took over, also Newcastle and Brighton have shown that they can challenge the best, amongst all the above mentioned teams Manchester City seem to be the biggest threat to Arsenal ending their EPL title drought this season.

Pep Guardiola’s men have the quality, squad depth, winning mentality and of course Erling Haaland, but it is their over reliance on the towering Norwegian that might actually give Arsenal the Premier League.

Man City appear to have become over reliant on Erling Haaland’s goals, the striker has already scored 17 goals in the Premier League but he has missed the last two games through injury and in those games Man City only managed a goal.

It’s clear that without Haaland they will struggle to score goals and his injury might lay him off for a significant number of games and should Man City continue to struggle in front of goal, they will drop vital points, but Arsenal have no such dependency on any player.

The gunners have a dynamic squad of goal scorers with Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus scoring five goals each, Bukayo Saka has four goals, Partey two, Xhaka two, Saliba two, Reiss Nelson also has two, the goals are spread across the team thereby neutralizing any such goal dependency that has a choke hold on Manchester City at the moment.
