From the outset, Arsenal looked sharp and determined. Bukayo Saka set the tone early with a brilliant goal in the 17th minute.
The young Englishman showcased his remarkable dribbling skills, weaving through Bournemouth’s defense before calmly slotting the ball into the net. It was a moment of sheer brilliance from the Arsenal academy graduate.
As the first half progressed, Arsenal continued to exert control over the match. Their efforts were rewarded just before half-time when Martin Ødegaard converted a penalty in the 44th minute. The Norwegian playmaker demonstrated his composure from the spot, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way.
The Gunners didn’t let up in the second half and earned another penalty in the 53rd minute, which was confidently dispatched by Kai Havertz. The German international’s precision from the spot made it difficult for Bournemouth to mount a comeback.
Arsenal’s defensive solidity was equally impressive. They held firm throughout the match, denying Bournemouth any clear-cut chances. Ben White put the finishing touch on an outstanding team performance with a goal in the 90th minute, sealing a resounding 4-0 victory.
