The Ex-Brighton Boss will take charge of his first domestic match for the West Londoners on Saturday & will be delighted to see veteran French midfielder, N’golo Kante recover from his thigh issue and resume full training ahead of the Derby.
The France international is unlikely to be thrown into action immediately, but could be given some minutes off the substitutes bench & slowly integrated until he’s completely fit, while Senegalese goalie, Edouard Mendy & USA winger, Christian Pulisic should be good to make an appearance.
In Goal should be none other than Mendy over Kepa Arrizabalaga, Kalidou Koulibaly & Wesley Fofana were left out of the starting XI by Graham Potter in their last match in the UCL versus RB Salzburg, the latter is expected to be recalled into the back three alongside Thiago Silva & Marc Cucurella.
With England internationals, Ben Chilwell and Reece James given the licence to bomb forward from their wing backs roles.
Mateo Kovacic & Jorginho are expected to be given the nod over Denis Zakaria and Conor Gallagher in midfield. Mason Mount will take over the offensive role after his game changing performance against Germany.
Despite his display with the German national side, Kai Havertz will have to sit out for the Fresh Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to lead the charge.
