Antonio Conte, the manager of Tottenham, has asked that his team’s players embrace squad rotation.

The statement was made by the Italian after Heung-Min Son scored a hat-trick against Leicester City on Saturday after coming off the bench.

They were Son’s first goals in eight games this season.

Before now, the South Korean was a no-brainer, but Richarlison, who joined Everton this summer, forced him into a competition for a starting spot.

Conte now claims that it was a wise move to leave Son out.

It’s crucial to realize that playing several games back-to-back can make players physically and psychologically exhausted.

Players don’t believe they need to rotate; instead, they believe they can play in every game. However, as a former player, I am aware of how crucial rotation is if you want to compete in the Premier League and Champions League.

“Having a guy of this caliber on the bench means I can alter the course of the game in an instant. For us, this is the way to go. Son was in the rotation today, but other players will be used in the upcoming round when we play 12 straight games, according to Conte.
