The news coming out of Etihad Stadium has revealed the signing of former Barcelona defender and Spaniard Leila Ouahabi, who will be playing for the club for the next two years. The 29-year-old will be joining the City women’s squad as they get ready to challenge the current champions of the Women’s Super League, the Chelsea women’s team, for the championship.
This is one of the replacements for Georgia Stanway, who left Manchester City after seven years with the club to join Bayern Munich, who competes in the Bundesliga in Germany. After his contract with Barcelona came to an end, Leila was able to sign with City on a free transfer.
