Gilchrist, a boyhood Chelsea supporter, joined our Academy as an Under-11 and progressed through the youth ranks at Cobham.
Bernardo Silva penned a one-year contract extension at City last month, committing his future to the club until 2026.
The news came as a surprise, with PSG and Barcelona both heavily linked with the Portuguese midfielder – however it’s since come out that his new deal included a very reasonable release clause.
Bernardo will reportedly be available for only £50 Million. PSG and Barcelona could well reignite their interest in him during the next transfer window.
UEFA will scrutinise the sales of Marco Verratti, Jullian Draxler and Abdou Diallo to Qatari clubs. If UEFA judges that the proximity between PSG and the Qatari clubs are too close, the French side will NOT be able to include these sales in their accounts.
PSG have collected around €80M from these sales: €45M for Marco Verratti, €15M for Abdou Diallo and €20M for Julian Draxler.
