After suffering a 1-0 defeat in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 against Borussia Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park in Germany, Chelsea will need to win with a huge margin in order to be able to pay off their deficit and eliminate the German club in Stamford Bridge on Tuesday evening....CONTINUE READING

Borussia Dortmund won’t be an easy opponent for Chelsea on Tuesday. The German Bundesliga Club is currently the most in-form club in Europe so far this year. The Edin Terzic’s side is currently 10 out of 10 in 2023 because they have won all their Games so far this year, recording a win rate of 100 percent.

They defeated Rb Leipzig in their last League game on Friday and they have already defeated Chelsea about three weeks ago.

Scoring isn’t exactly Chelsea’s forte at the moment. The West London club barely got a goal against Leeds United last weekend as Graham Potter had to rely on the lone goal of Wesley Fofana to get a win against Leeds United at Stamford Bridge.

Borussia Dortmund could just decide to sit inside their box on Tuesday to defend while waiting to catch Chelsea off guard with a counterattack.

Although, a counterattack against Chelsea might not be easy for Borussia Dortmund because their rapid Striker Karim Adeyemi won’t be available for the game while their Goalkeeper that denied Chelsea a lot of chances in the first leg will also miss the game, and that’s a big boost for Chelsea.

The task at hand for the West London club, as Graham Potter hopes to save his job, is difficult. It’s difficult but, not impossible. They just need to score 2 goals or more while making sure that they keep Borussia Dortmund out simultaneously.

Thiago Silva is out for the game but, Graham Potter still has Kalidou Koulibaly and Wesley Fofana. He needs another Defender to complete his back-three Defense set-up so, I think Marc Cucurella should feature as a Left Centre-back against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday while Kalidou Koulibaly and Wesley Fofana will complete the defense.

Reece James and Ben Chilwell should feature in the Wing-back positions while Enzo Fernandez and Mateo Kovavic should Start together in the midfield.

In the attack, Raheem Sterling and Mykhaylo Mudryk should start in the front wings while Joao Felix should start as a False 9.
