Liverpool snatched away the Carabao Cup and FA Cup from Chelsea, leaving no trophy for the Blues, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United to clinch.

This time around, Chelsea is ready to challenge and win a trophy this season with their manager Thomas Tuchel backed in the transfer window by the club’s new owner, Todd Boehly.

It was reported that the manager was handed not less than £200million to bolster and already bolstered the squad. There’s no doubt that the Blues lured quality players like Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly to the club.

Sterling joined from the Blues side of Manchester while Kalidou joined from Napoli after several years of being linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

Apart from these duos, Tuchel is keen on adding another center-back following the departure of Christensen and Antonio Rudiger to Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively.

Sevilla center-back Jules Kunde was named as a perfect addition, but as it stands, Barcelona is currently working in the background to hijack the deal.

Chelsea was the first to table a deal with a huge wage, but the Catalans came into the picture and convinced the Frenchman to snub the Blues despite their huge offer.

However, the Blues are yet to make another addition but are interested in Paris Saint Germain center-back Presnel Kimpembe.
