He is a very skilled player, but he has had a hard time staying healthy and breaking into the starting lineup. In the past few seasons, Pulisic has struggled to maintain a stable role on the team and see much playing time.
The lack of playing time has severely hindered his performance despite the fact that he is one of the Premier League’s most skilled and promising wingers.
The ex-Borussia Dortmund striker was a lightning rod for the crowd when he dominated games in the Bundesliga.
But things haven’t gone swimmingly since he moved to the Premier League, and he’s been having some trouble keeping up with his fitness obligations. Despite having some tremendous skill, the Blues do not have many engaging dribblers like Pulisic.
Mason Mount, a Chelsea offensive midfielder from England, has improved greatly as a dribbler over the past two seasons. The young Englishman’s impressive display of ability in defeating his opponent has been thrilling to see.
Since German manager Thomas Tuchel took over at the Bridge last year, he has flourished and became Tuchel’s personal favorite player. The 23-year-old playmaker has been compared favorably to the club’s former entertaining player, Eden Hazard.
Mount scored 13 goals in all competitions for Chelsea last season, his greatest scoring total in his time with the club. If the young English talent continues to develop and play at a high level, he will be among Europe’s elite.
