While some Players have witnessed few playing minutes this season, like Trevoh Chalobah, who has played just a game this season, there are some that are yet to step on the pitch for Chelsea this season at all.
Among the Players that Chelsea signed last summer was Carney Chukwuemeka. The England International Joined Chelsea from Aston Villa for a fee of £20million. It was perceived that he was going to be loaned out or sent to the U-21 but Chelsea opted to keep him in the first team.
However, it seems Carney Chukwuemeka would have been better off on loan because he hasn’t played any minute for Chelsea this season. Chelsea have played 8 games this season, across all competitions, and Carney Chukwuemeka have had to watch from the Bench when he makes the Matchday squad or watch from the stands when he doesn’t make the Matchday squad.
Swiss Midfielder Denis Zakaria is also yet to make any appearance for Chelsea this season. He joined the Blues on the last day of the summer transfer window, like Pierre Emerick Aubameyang. Unlike Aubameyang who started for Chelsea against Dinamo Zagreb and Red Bull Salzburg, Denis Zakaria hasn’t played for Chelsea at all this season.
