The 21-year-old has been superb for Bayer 04 Leverkusen football club since joining them on a season long loan this summer transfer window, and he was able to impress again in his team’s well deserved victory over Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid.
Callum Hudson-Odoi started in his team’s attack alongside Patrik Schick and Moussa Diaby and the trio were able to guide the team to a convincing 2-0 victory over their opponent.
Both teams efforts to score in the first half of the game were not successful, as the first half ended goalless.
Bayer Leverkusen football club took the lead through Robert Andrich in the 84th minute via a fine teamwork from Callum Hudson-Odoi and Jeremie Frimpong, before Moussa Diaby doubled the lead in the 87th minute to end the match 2-0.
