Romelu Lukaku, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Tiemoué Bakayoko, Malang Sarr, and Ethan Ampadu are among Chelsea players that are currently on loan with other teams. Today, we take a look at of one of those players and how he fared during his debut game for his loan club.
Ethan Ampadu makes his debut and started for Spezia against Napoli in their 1-0 defeats in the Italian Serie A. Ethan played in defense after the Spezia manager gave an update on his fitness yesterday:
“Ampadu will be available tomorrow, I trust to use him and employ him in the defensive line, since he arrived he has given me maximum availability.” – the manager revealed in a press conference before the game today
Ethan Ampadu played 70 minutes today on his Spezia debut against Napoli in the Italian Serie A. He had a solid game, although he did nothing special (like scoring a goal or assisting a goal) but he did his job well.
The team had a clean sheet while he was on the pitch, as a late goal from Raspadori gave the host the lead in the 89th minute.
Ethan Ampadu played mostly at RCB, which is not his idea position, and then finished the match playing at RWB position.
