The 29 year old Belgian international started the game from the bench due to tactical reason but was introduced in the second half for Lautaro Martinez, and he was able to play his part and also contributed his quota in the convincing victory that placed his team at the second spot on the table with 15 points behind current league leader, Napoli.
Romelu Lukaku after his introduction as a second half substitute was able to deliver at the peak using his vast experience coupled with his physical, tactical and technical skills which made him posed to be a complete threat in the opposition box.
The only first half goal from Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored in the 29th minute was enough to separate the two sides going into the half time break which ended one nil.
The host in the second half were able to continue their dominant style of play and as such put up some more dazzling displays, thereby got their lead doubled in the 53rd minute with a goal from Lautaro Martinez to make it two goals to nil and was also the final scoreline at full time after all other attempts from both ends to add more to the tally proved abortive.
