How Chelsea Could Lineup With All Their First Team Defenders.
Goalkeeper: E. Mendy.
Defenders: Koulibaly, Trevor Chalobah, T. Silva, Cesar Azpilicueta, Reece James , Fofana and M. Cucurella.
Midfielders: Kovacic and Ngolo Kante.
Striker: Kai Havertz.
This defensive set-up will see James and Cucurella serve as Midfielders and wingers. Both Players have to ability to multitask and this is the attributes that made them so special.
Cucurella has worked under Graham Potter at Brighton and will probably be a regular starter for the club during his tenure.
Some of Chelsea’s defenders like Fofana has the ability to play in the defensive midfield position and Potter might easily consider him for such position in the absence of Kante.
