Gusto completed his medicals at the bridge on Saturday, and signed a 7 and half years contract with Chelsea, which would keep him at the club until 2030.
The 19-year-old french man started his playing career at Lyon academy, he was impressive and showed a lot of potentials which lead him to the first team last two years.
Since his introduction to the first team, he has continued to show his worth and has cemented his place as the first choice right back at Lyon.
It’s a good deal for Chelsea, who had been looking for a replacement for the injured right back Reece James.
Chelsea in a statement released today after the confirmation of the deal read: the 19-year-old french right back has signed a contract at Stamford bridge until 2030 and will be loan back to the French side Lyon for the remaining season, where he had made 15 league appearances for Lyon.
