Some improvements were obvious in their third league fixture against Liverpool at Old Trafford. The red devils put up an outstanding performance to beat Jurgen Klopp’s men 2-1, to record their first win of the season.

Predicted Line-up

Against Liverpool, Ten Hag benched Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Maguire. He may likely stick to that decision, while Casemiro and Anthony Martial take the place of Mctominay and Elanga in the starting lineup.

Malacia’s performance means Luke Shaw could still be benched. Varane and Martinez were very solid at the back, showing some fighting spirit. Victor Lindelof is still out on injury.
