Mr Olisa Agbakoba made this disclosure when he was being interviewed by Vanguard, he noted if the court decides on the matter, he can then comment on the matter, Vanguard reported.
Mr Olisa Agbakoba said: “Well, it is very tough. Unfortunately, I can’t make any comment on the Chicago State University certificate issue. I don’t talk to the media when a matter is pending in court. If the matter is decided, then I can comment on it.”
Speaking further, Mr Agbakoba made it known that “it is important that the unsettled issue of the Supreme Court be decided so that we can put it behind us.” He further noted that anyone that emerges as President will then face the challenges President Tinubu is facing presently.
Speaking about the removal of fuel subsidy by President Tinubu, Mr Agbakoba made it known that “Nigerians have to go through a very tough time” as a result of fuel subsidy removal. He went on and described this period as “the toughest time in the history of this country since independence.”
